Debut and breakthrough:- Khan made his acting debut in 1988 with Biwi Ho Toh Aisi as a supporting actor and got his first leading role and breakthrough in the second movie a romantic family drama Maine Pyaar Kiya 1989 which become the highest-earning and grossing movie of Indian Films of the time which was dubbed in English as When Love Calls, in Telegu as Prema Paavuraalu and in Spanish as Te Amo. 2. Relationship with Aishwariya Rai:-  Both had a serious relationship that came to end in march 2002. In which Salman was accused of harassing her and her parents complained to him.
